Chelsea College of Arts
I am an inter-disciplinary artist and my work is about my experiences and me. In my art I use minimum colours, where each colour stands for an emotion, the pain one goes through yet strives harder to continue with life. The work is drawn from my experiences in London, the cultural differences, family, friends I made there, and the way it shaped me. My work is influenced by how a woman, who isconfined in the society under the guise of culture, forced to live an idealistic life, breaks away the shackles and builds her own path.

Currently, I am exploring my own sexuality and how it feels to be a single girl in Indian society, how I am being treated by the society and my reaction to it.It’s also about the three tenses – where past is gone and future is at a place where I belong, to attain peace and to free one’s soul from all karma
